Across all times and cultures, a love story is most captivating when it comes true only after many twists and turns.
A hilarious story that unfolds on the Nongmeori coast during the Joseon Dynasty. This production reimagines Shakespeare's long-cherished classic Twelfth Night against a Joseon-era backdrop. The story cleverly unfolds a tangled web of love, enriched with Korean aesthetics and emotions in its stage design, music, and even video elements, giving it a distinctly contemporary resonance. Award-winning Korean Director Im Do Wan's signature dazzling wordplay, combined with the actors' superb performances and the vibrancy of live music, creates a delightful feast of Korean theatre for today's audiences. With diverse music and sound effects, rhythmical movement, and lines delivered with lyrical cadence, the production offers a stage experience that is both strikingly humorous and profoundly engaging.
